Oman Air is working to reduce single-use plastic on board by replacing it with more eco-friendly materials. For example, the airline has replaced the plastic packaging for earphones with recyclable Kraft paper. This change is expected to reduce 6.48 tons of non-recyclable waste annually, which is equivalent to saving approximately 110 trees from deforestation or conserving 207,360 liters of water.
