In December 2024, the establishment of the Oman Net Zero Centre was announced. The center’s goal is to support the transition to a sustainable economy, improve quality of life by reducing carbon emissions, and foster collaboration between the public and private sectors on environmental projects.
The Ministry of Energy and Minerals of Oman is responsible for developing and implementing state policies in the fields of oil and gas extraction, as well as managing the country’s mineral resources.
