Alba is currently building a new power block at Power Station 5.
Once operational, the station’s total capacity will increase from 1.8 GW to 2.4 GW. This project will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the Kingdom of Bahrain’s goal to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2060, in line with Alba’s ESG roadmap.
