Maqroo is the world's first Arabic font specifically designed for individuals with dyslexia, developed by Omantel in collaboration with Leo Burnett Dubai. The project is based on an in-depth analysis of over 650 Arabic fonts and features enhanced diacritical marks (nokat) and vowelization symbols (tashkeel), along with optimized letter proportions to improve readability.
